Capture Ideas Anytime, Anywhere The newly introduced Splice Mic feature revolutionizes mobile music creation for songwriters, attuned to the need for spontaneity. This tool is more than just a recording application; it integrates your vocal or instrumental takes with sounds from Splice in real-time. This enables immediate testing of musical ideas and exploration of genres, thereby unlocking new creative avenues.

Whether humming a melody or working on lyrics, Splice Mic transforms fleeting inspirations into tangible music opportunities. Each recording brings one closer to completing a track. Once ready, users can seamlessly export their work to a DAW to further develop their mobile-created ideas into fully realized songs.

Effortless Idea Generation with Create Mode Create Mode streamlines the process of generating new musical concepts while on the go. By simply tapping the Create icon and selecting a genre, users can access a Stack of loops from the Splice library instantly. While the generated Stack might fit perfectly with one’s needs, it also encourages experimentation by mixing varied sounds that resonate with personal tastes.

This feature grants users complete control over their creations; they can shuffle their Stack, incorporate new compatible sounds or recordings, and refine elements with simple gestures—swiping right to replace loops or left to remove them altogether. Additionally, layers can be soloed or muted as desired. Once satisfied with their arrangement, users can easily save their work and utilize the Stack icon to hear individual loops within Create mode's musical context.

Seamlessly Share Your Creations Creating and saving a Stack is merely the initial step. Accessible from any device linked to a Splice account, Stacks can also be shared via unique links, AirDrop, or uploaded to cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive for effortless collaboration. Users working in Ableton Live or Studio One can export their Stacks as DAW files with synced key and tempo information—facilitating a smooth transition back to studio work—and save as bounced stereo mixes to review complete ideas.
